Ohbi is OFFICIALLY 3!

Can you even believe OHBI is officially three?! We are shooketh to the core. When we started this project to fill our day with something that was important to us which is creativity…We didn’t think we would grow and learn so much in the process. We’d like to share a few bits of knowledge that we have learned over the past 3 years with y’all!

what we’ve learned

Our dreams and goals are much bigger than the fears we have or get stuck behind. It’s a daily practice to not let the lies we might tell ourselves or believe hold us back from what we want and can achieve.

We are enough! It’s hard to not play the comparison game when social media gets involved. Especially as a lifestyle blogger (like seriously who isn’t a blogger these days). We have learned some serious truth surrounding this struggle…not everyone’s journey is the same and we are not less than the next person because of it. Everyone will have their moments of “success”. Success is not just one thing that someone gave a definition to. Success looks different for everyone. Being successful could mean personal growth, becoming Insta famous, conquering their biggest fear or accomplishing their biggest goal!

We are confident in who we are! We are big believers in being 100% authentic and true to ourselves. It can be pretty hard to do sometimes but we try our best. You may have noticed we took an unintentional hiatus for the second half of this year. If we’re being honest we didn’t feel like we had much to offer the World Wide Web. We’re in a place where we would rather offer some sort of value to the world through our posts and captions instead of posting for the sake of posting. We know that’s not how you grow your brand, but oh well. Quality over quantity.

Lastly, self-care is so important and it was news to us that it didn’t always have to be face masks and splurging on an adult bevi. Did anyone else think this?! No, just us? While we were on our unintentional hiatus we realized self-care includes making time to put yourself first. It means going back to therapy, reading books on our to-read lists, binging on podcasts, or spending quality time with friends and family. Our cups need to be filled up so that we can give our best selves to others.

Living an inspiring and authentic life has always been a part of our mission. This year has shown us that we’re included in that audience.

For those of you that have stuck with us these past years, supported, encouraged and inspired us…THANK YOU!

xoxo
